The theme is "rooms that represent you". This room is designed based on things I have in my room to make my ideal art studio. This environment contains a basic amenities such as a desk, chair, storage cabinets, pillows, books, and a rug. The desks contains container, art tools, bottles, and papers oriented to simulate a lived in environment. To elicit a warm and comfortable feeling I utilizes warm colors as well orange and yellow lighting.

"Search Protocol" Background

Background and assets designed for the game, "Search Protocol". The background was modeled with polygonal modeling techniques, UV edited, and textured for a mock studio of 8 students for a semester class. More information on my role in this project can be found here.
The themes our team was assigned was "big hole". The main character works for a unethical company that searches for lost cave explorers. I was tasked with creating an oppressive environment, emulating rusted iron, utilizing gray and green. To elicit a claustrophobic feeling the room was designed to be small and overcrowded and is decorated with pipes and bolts to give the player less room.

The inspiration for this environment is a doll set I used to play with. I wanted to recreate the feeling of wonder and joy I had when I played with it. I often played pretend tea time with my stuffed animals so I organized the desserts and utensils the way tea houses would when awaiting guests. To elicit a warm and comfortable feeling I utilized warm colors and bright lighting.

Square bedroom designed, modeled with polygonal modeling techniques for a class final.
The theme of this class project was "child's bedroom" and I wanted to model one I wish I had growing up. I wanted to model a simple but quaint bedroom and decided that for practicality, the room should be simplistic but have many hanging lights in the shape of planets.
